Who Are We?

The Harikrishna Gavseva Charitable Trust was established in 1999 with a singular mission: to elevate the lives of Gir cows. Committed to providing the highest standard of care, the Trust operates a modern gaushala equipped with the latest amenities. Our cows enjoy a nutritious diet, spacious accommodations, and regular veterinary care. Recognizing the importance of sustainability, we have cultivated a 100-acre farm dedicated to producing organic fodder for our herd.

To ensure the long-term well-being of these magnificent creatures, the Trust has ventured into the production of cow-based products. By selling these products, we generate revenue that is directly reinvested into expanding our operations and caring for more Gir cows. This self-sustaining model allows us to provide continuous support to our bovine family while preserving the rich heritage of the Gir cow breed.

About Our Gaushala

Our gaushala is located in the Vidi area of Anjar town, in the Kutch district. Our gaushala is thoughtfully designed with modern infrastructure, providing extensive facilities to ensure the well-being of our cows.

Our cows are nourished with food sourced directly from our own farmland, ensuring a diet that is entirely natural and organic. Additionally, we have strategically placed water pots throughout the gaushala, providing the cows with unlimited access to clean water at all times.

Our gaushala is equipped with a music system that plays spiritual hymns and devotional songs continuously, creating a serene environment for the cows. This practice not only enhances their well-being but also positively influences milk production.

The gaushala undergoes regular and thorough cleaning to ensure optimal hygiene for the cows. Additionally, the entire shelter is equipped with ceiling fans, providing protection from excessive heat and insects, thereby enhancing the comfort and well-being of the cows.

The gaushala spans 4 acres, offering comprehensive protection for the cows in all weather conditions. A 20,000 square-foot area is covered with a durable RCC structure, while the remaining space is open-air, allowing the cows ample freedom to roam and graze.
